Ordered some new Synergy Ball Joints and a few other goodies. Hope to install them soon... Are you still running stock?

Hopefully this weekend I can replace wheel bearing, pitman arm and steering stabilizer so I'm ready for Sicily!

Yeah they are still stock ball joints. Right on -- was wondering they had any issues welding on your gussets. I've read about that causing some damage to the stocks.

No not yet if everything goes to plan going to robs today to put it on jack stands and run it. Hope it doesn't keep me from going.

Wow that's a hell of a price. Do you think they would actually protect or just look the part??

Wow that's a hell of a price. Do you think they would actually protect or just look the part?? Yeah normally they are $150 for the guards, $100 for the lights. The seller had an @quadtratec.com email address, so I'm assuming they were a return item or an overstock.... or a shady dude selling excess inventory on the side, who knows. They've been around as long as the JK and have decent reviews, though the first versions had some fitment issues. They're 12 gauge steel, which is a hair under 2/16 in thick. The Poison Spyder corners are 3/16 in thick, so they're not obviously not as strong, but should be fine for around here, especially for the price. Here's someone who already has them on:
