With all the 4x4 places out there I figured it would be easy to get fixed.

Yeah I actually went out there to pick it up and drove it for a couple days. I was on my way to run Hell's Revenge when I heard a screeching noise. I pulled in a gas station to inspect thinking it was a bearing issue. After I looked around my jeep I tried to move it forward and reverse but it would not budge. Apparently my new high $$$ Dynatrac axle had welded itself inside the axle shaft. I was told that sometimes when they make them they dont allow enough room for the axle to expand as it gets hot and that it will actually weld itself to the inside of the shaft. Anyway Dynatrac is covering everything under warranty, but since the axle can't be removed they are having to send the entire D60 rear axles and chunk back to the factory. So that is why I had to leave it there at Moab 4x4 Outpost. Its bullshit I know, they should totally pay my $1200 fuel costs for driving out there pulling a trailer.

Wow, welcome to the site and I have finally found someone that has the bad karma bug that I have had for years now. Haha

LOL, thanks! Talk about a buzz kill, on my way to go wheeling when that happened. Guess a positive note would be at least it happened before I hit the trail. I would have had hell trying to get out of Hell's Revenge with a frozen rear axle.

I actually sold my old axle and transfer case while I was out there. I didn't bring back the tires because we had loaded down the trailer we took with other stuff, but if you're still interested in them I can pick them up when I go get my jeep hopefully later this summer. I'm asking around $1200 for all five.

That TJ looks like a monster! Hope you get it back soon. I was without my Jeep for 2 weeks and I hated every minute of it.
