Hey guys, I have encountered a problem with my 1999 TJ. If it has been sitting say over night or for a long period of time during the day, I have to stay on the gas to keep it running after cranking it up utnill I have driving around for a while. When I first take off and I shift gears, the RPM's just drop off and it almost goes dead if it actually doesn't. It started this about 3 weeks ago and I can not fiqure out why. Now I must admit that I am not the most mechanically savy guy, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Sounds like a spark plug or injector issue maybe? I am not a mechanic either.

Maybe check the idle air control valve. Go by auto zone and see if they can check for codes for you.
